24. I can't progress past the "Press Any Key" screen on startup!

Navigate to steamapps/common/DeepRockGalactic/FSD/Saved/SaveGames

Make a backup of all the files stored in there

Delete the SaveGames folder

Launch the game

Complete or skip the tutorial

Go to esc > options > manage saves

Restore save

Try alt + tabbing out and clicking back in.

You're probably before the settings menu, but is the game running in a window, in full screen, or in a borderless fullscreen (a.k.a. a borderless window)? It's possible to change this in the config file if this is part of the problem.

I also think that alt+tabbing out and back in is a good thing to try as well as verifying the game files through Steam.

Is the game running in fullscreen mode or windowed mode or borderless mode? Can you tell?

It sounds like the game shows the two logos and then transitions to the "press any button" menu. I can normally click through the logos to skip them. and even the Esc key works on the "press any button" menu. You are unable to do skip the logos, correct?

I'd also try running the game in DirectX11. By default I think the game tries DirectX12 if it can use it. The option appears when you start the game from your Steam library's play button.

Having the exact same problem. It's like it it's trying to reset the resolution or display in some way and won't progress past the Title Screen with Press Any Button to Continue.
