I got banned from official DRG discord.

Ive been chatting in #drg and wee suggested whats the best food of DRG. I told em im a red sugar enjoyer. Tater deleted our messages and told about only drg chatting there. I did nothing wrong, continued chatting with others and got banned.

Id like to have discord of some mod of this server to try getting an appeal.

You gave a reasonable thought about why you might've been muted, you stated that you left instead of waiting for the mute to be lifted, and you've yet to answer if you've tried going back, instead demanding an answer to a problem that might not even exist.

Maybe, it certainly *might* be the case that they're just petty and don't want to publicly show how much so, but I'd rather guess that they don't care whatsoever about your little issue (since you've likely been able to go back any time you wanted), and don't deem it worth even responding to. Your guess is as good as mine I reckon.

I've only seen one other "appeal", might've been the one you're referring to since they seemingly weren't at fault, not that I recall what the issue was but it was sorted out fast enough.

These threads always disappear too so I can't look them up. I am sure this one will too. I guess it will be the great mystery of DRG forum.

Saying GAY in response to something is usually the same as someone saying the F word or other words to display an emotion of "Well that's stupid"

Actually not in the interest of the DRG official discord server. In order to keep its status (and possibly even the entire server) it actually has to have moderation because Discord (the company) will drop servers for not complying to Discord TOS/Community Guidelines.

So? Live with it or not use the service.

If you want life with less strict TOS you can agree with then don't use popular/corporate services that have a profit motive. Drop mainstream services and go off the grid with various alt-tech services, IRC servers, voip projects, distributed social media services, etc..

This is the thing, everyone's peanut idea's are out for everyone to read. Even the ones who have no idea about how words can be used differently or that historically many things have had different uses from a Nazi Symbol/Buddism right down to these words that today offend grown bubble-wrapped children. A lot of kids aren't being taught like they used to or simply aren't paying attention at all.

I mean my parents and their parents used to say "Doesn't Mary look gay today?" and then myself [mid 80's] and my entire generation and those around mine would say "Oh, well that's pretty gay man" instead of saying "Stupid" or "Dumb". Then we shifted into this satire like society with the advent of home internet, social platforms for everyone and suddenly we treat the use of "Gay" like it's a white dude dropping the N bomb at a Chick-fil-A fifteen minutes before Black Friday stores are about to open up.

Out of all the arguments, all the weird hidden agenda's some weirdo's have I just still can never comprehend why once you actually "come out" you have to feel the need to re-iterate daily, hourly, every thirty seconds or on every post even if it's off-topic that you are different. I mean we're all different.
