Pretty awful. I mean, what exactly were they going for? Australian? English? Scottish? It kind of sounds a bit like someone who's doing a very bad impersonation of an Aussie, who apparently moved to London England, only the person doing the impression isn't familiar with either

Actually...it sounds like my redneck coworker's impersonation of literally anyone outside of the U.S., lol. In his mind if they don't live in america they all live in some strange far off land of Euro-asia-stralia-land and they all sound exactly like this

Otherwise...very fun game :) I'm sure i'll learn to love the accents eventually. Or at least tune them out

I think my personal favorite depiction of dwarf voices in games would have to be scottish. I dunno, it just sort of fits. It has that axe swinging, beer drinking, tough but jolly vibe that seems to fit. But i'd honestly be good with most accent choices, as long as they just picked one and did it well. These though just seems a bit...off, lol

It's all good tho. At least after a few initial cringes and "oh my god that's so bad" moments

etc... Hell, she seems pretty damn reliable to me. She carries a ridiculous amount of minerals, can crawl on the ceiling, and doesn't complain when she takes an errant shot from my Gatling gun, or a poorly lobbed grenade every now and then. I give her a big thumbs up

They had new quips every time we get a big update.

the accents are a result of the same voice actor being used for all four of the dwarfs, his voice was modified in post production to sound different

Well, she's always in the way during firefights, like you said, and she often tries to occupy the same space as a player. You'll get it the first time you get knocked off a ledge and into a K.O.

Try hitting the call mule button a few times during missions where she isn't present. You'll see that the dwarves might be gruff with her, but...
