Fastest way to level up?
I'm Level 200 now and I'm trying to get all my dwarfes to gold promotion.
Got gold with my engi but the others are still silver. I'm doing the weekly missions and deep dives. But I was wondering what missions give the most exp so I can get them all to gold?

That last promotion for all my other boys seems to be coming in at the slowest of snail crawls. They are all silver 3 and above level 20 now. Almost there. My gunner is almost gold 2 now.

Slow:

Slow is steady.

Steady is smooth.

Smooth is fast.

The fastest way would either be actively hunting for the double experience mission anomaly, or grind the Deep Dives and really get familiar with where everything required is, so that you can blitz them the second+ time.
You only get the cores once, but you get the rewards for the dives themselves every time.

I think the best way is probably just to not think about levelling up. Before I got my gunner to gold and then started being fixated on getting my other 3 boys up there it FEELS like the experience comes in 10 times slower. Before this goal of mine, I would just be playing casually and then mission control would announce that I am ready for promotion assignment. My gunner is ready to start gold 2 promotion assignment and that 25 levels came in a flash. Must be because I wasn't checking every mission to see where he's at like I am with the other 3. It's like when you are so ready to go home from work or school and you keep checking the clock over and over.

There are videos on YouTube for this. Consensus is group farming of eggs and aquarqs, high haz, working as quickly as possible to just finish the mission.

It’s fun until you get really good at it. Then it’s just farming which is boring AF compared to just playing the game. In the long haul, you’ll probably play more if you just play, if that makes sense.

Not everyone is like me though. If you like farming, I’d take a look at one of those videos. With a good team you can average about 1k per minute in mission.

Point extraction (aquarqs) are generally super reliable since it's a quick objective to do with practice. It's also encouraged to have a fast pace due to the spawn/swarm mechanics intensifying as time goes on.

I wouldn't bother deliberately grinding though, it'll pass and then you'll have nothing to do.

Personally I'd recommend Mining Expedition missions - Either the shortest or the longest ones (200 / 325 / 400 morkite). Mining missions are consistent, and the pace is more manageable even for random teams.

Remember, failing a mission gives you less XP than simply playing on a lower Haz level. Go for consistency, and then speed, and finally higher difficulty.

PE was good before the last update, but it got nerfed, so now you get ~1k less XP per mission (Haz 4/5, secondaries included). Still good if you can get an efficient team, but those are rare nowadays.

If farming is your thing, here's a tip: Calculate the mission XP you can get per minute. Aim for at least 500 XP / minute. It is good enough because you can get >30k XP / hour, or roughly 1 promotion (8 PR) in 10 hours. That already beats the urban legend - 2 hours per player rank - by a mile.

If ya wanna be scummy, try and join missions as late as possible.
If you don't wanna be scummy, try and do double experience missions where you complete the objectives and leave extra stuff behind.

I can’t see this as a viable option. Yeah stuff spawns in the same spot but it’s still 3 freaking missions for an xp payout that isn’t really that much considering it was 3 missions.

I think you’re way better off going for double xp missions or just late joining missions if you’re purely after experience.

But it's 3x the XP after the deep dive for 3 missions.
