EPC Mining with Heatpipe?

After a very long hiatus (8 months) I decided to start playing with driller again. The first thing I noticed was how hard it is to mine with the EPC. My EPC loadouts with heatpipe are 22222 and 22122. Both of these loadouts result in the same thing. 90% overheat instantly after a charge shot, unable to get off the second normal shot.

Did the devs change something or can you no longer use it to mine? Should I use a different OC and loadout? I've got all of them, so please enlighten me.

You can still use it for mining. And yes, they changed epc a little bit.

You need to change you build a little for it to work. I am not currently Infront my PC. I will share the build I am using asap.

I think this video makes it sound harder then it is. So the build I am currently using is 22222 with "Energy Rerouting" clean overclock. So basically different oc then pre update 34. Test it out. I think the feel of this build is much closer to pre uptade 34 epc mining.

I believe you can use the same build, but change the OC to energy rerouting. I prefer 21122 as I use the TCF for landscaping and damage as well and like the consistent charged shot output without the overheating.
