WARNING: Roller Coaster Achievement

Make absolutely sure that your rail is going to take you 120 seconds before connecting it to the pump! I didn't realize this, but you can't dismantle it once you connect it.

I spent two hours building a cool little roller coaster pipeline until I got it to about 1 minute 57 seconds. I thought; "Okay, cool. It should be more than long enough if I just go ahead and build it to the pump." Which it was, but there was a small little bump where I just happened to build a pipe slightly too close to the one below it which wasn't enough to prevent you from passing through it. It was just a small enough space to just barely bump you off the rail at about 1 minute 59 seconds.

I realize I probably should have checked, and not built any pipes on top of each other. I thought the tunnel above the other pipes was far enough away to not be a problem. Which, again, it was, but not if you just so happened to build a junction in that one specific place above that one specific pipe.

i did as scout 40m solo with basco, yep check the map size and terrain before do.

I have been thinking to give it a shot in azure weald since it always spawns me in massive huge caverns. If you make a big long one but don't connect it to a pump, I believe it still count right? I could build it, surf it, then remove it and build it short and proper to finish the mission... I think...

There's no need to connect it to a pump.

I did it as an engi and platformed my way up the hole the drop pod made. The pipe was way longer than it needed to be, but I introduced my friends to the black rock that is the top of the map, so there's something.

The biggest hint I have is to use inclines to keep slowing you down, which is why the drop pod hole is so ideal.

awesome. I happened to have a pumpjack WAY up in the weald to get it to so I am just putzing around in solo making a super long roller coaster for fun. Lootbugs keep getting in my way and knocking me off the pipes. xD

Got it now. Made one really awesome roller coaster through the azure weald. Probably should have recorded it but meh.

It's never long enough
...2 minutes is a LOT longer than it sounds. Building out a 120 second ride is a helluva lot more work than it looks.

i take it you carnt press E and suddenly change direction and start going back on yourself for this then? after all technically its instant so you do not stop moving at all
