It was obvious that the rockets were going to make it in one way or another, just happy to see that Gunner's getting a unique gun. I do wonder if they went through with other designs or decided to try some other stuff. I'm betting on the laser making it in someway, due to it being a unique concept.
The most exciting part about these are the models, because that's half the weapon right there

Macross Missile Massacre (Unstable)

Some of our boys at R&D watched too much human animation and came up with this overclock. The Hurricane's firing rate, missile speed, damage and blast radius are increased significantly, but the sheer recoil takes a toll on accuracy and guidance ability. But the contrails are awesome!

Driller might end up getting a laser. A constant beam projector to fit in with the other primaries, but with range.

that is a possibility (since that happened with U32), but they might be able to get it all out on time this time around, since they seem to have started a lot earlier than with U32
