Also, yeah, if you don't want to play X mission, then don't play X mission. There's a reason people commonly say that, but I won't insult your intelligence by spelling it out for you.
Information available by googling is not the same as being part of the game. Cheats are available very easily too, though I assume you'll agree they shouldn't be included in the game.
Anyways. You'll get to appreciate those mods eventually, with time. Everyone hates them at first. Then we adapt.
If it really bugs people they can go look it up and then choose not to play it.
Union regs state any dwarf may deny any mission for any reason, however said dwarf waives all rights to not be called a pointy eared leaf lover. Really though, they're just boring because it doubles the amount of time you're sitting around waiting for "game mechanic."
I won't insult your intelligence by telling you to read the last line of my main post.
By this metric, isn't a problem that ALL missions aren't hidden modifiers? Maybe if it was just a setting, so people who like that "surprise" element are still able to have it, while people who don't want that can opt out? And having to use a third party element to experience the game is really ♥♥♥♥. It's one of the reasons that Destiny is a garbo game. I mean c'mon, having to use a third party "grindr"esque app just to find a pug of morons for a raid?
I don't like dwarves that don't like Doretta. Doretta best girl.
They're never going to add it within the game because many people want to be surprised.
But you can also Google it so asking for this change is just kind of not worth it.
I mean I get not wanting to go off the game to find information you want but I play a game where if you don’t go to the Wikipedia you’re screwed.
I know you want to see 2nd and 3rd stage too (ingame), but it's something.
Whenever I start an O2 mission the first thing I say is a reminder that it's an O2 mission and that you have to be careful of where you place down resupplies, we need them spread out so that there are different safe places to run to. I also ping Molly and keep an eye out for any players that get separated from the group in a big way. Molly is a portable O2 station.
The ghost mission isn't so bad. I wouldn't want to play it often but it creates an interesting dynamic about avoiding it and the range of bulk detonators. Bring a scout if you do a ghost mission so that he can zip past it in case someone has to pass it. This mission is all about controlled aggro.
