Interesting Rock Formations in Azure Weld
Does anybody know what the P[[[[[[[{0}]]]]]]]P rock formations are in the Azure Weld biome? They are these glowing stalagmites that illuminate the area and there is a spinning haze around them. Anyway, when the bugs get in range of these rocks, the electricity icon appears on their HUD but it does not seem to electrocute them. Is there an advantage to utilizing these rocks somehow in combat like during a swarm?

The Errorhenge. It gives a 50% damage reduction to EVERYTHING in it (enemies, dwarves, doretta). The effect last for 15s once you're outside of the field.

The blue particles will help you tell when you're under the effect or not.

I've heard they provide a defense boost, but I've never really taken a moment to test that theory.

Excellent answer, thank you! So ideally it would be a great scenario to temporarily enter into that field and escape before the bugs have a chance to get in there and get the damage reduction buff as well. Definitely a useful thing for a scout that can pop in and out of there pretty quickly.

True as per Ser Pounce, even to enemies though which is great to know. Thanks for your reply!

Worth noting that destroying the pillars does NOT remove the buff field, so those are a really bad place to fight dreadnoughts.
