Game Now Locked at 64 FPS? [[SOLVED]]
Started the game up today and no matter what I do the game is locked at 64 FPS. I usually run the game locked at 144fps in 1440p for my 144hz monitor. Changing resolution, DX version, windowed mode, v sync, fps cap, does nothing to fix.

Anyone else run into this issue?

RTX 3080

Game installed on NVMe

Is the Razer app causing the issue, just exit the Razer Synapse and Have Fun. :pcrace:

144 frames here
There is a "FPS limit" option on the settings

Yep, I turned that off to let it be unlimited and it's still capped at 64.
I just did both a clean install of the latest nvidia driver and also rolled back to an older driver with a clean install and neither worked. Still locked at 64fps. The heck.
check the max frame rate setting in nvidia control panel
open nvidia control panel go to manage 3d settings then in global settings scroll until you see max frame rate then pick your number or turn it off etc then click apply. maybe that will fix it:pickax:

Tried this and no luck unfortunately.
hmmm have you checked your display settings on windows and seen for sure that your refresh is at 144?
right click desktop click on display settings then scroll down to advanced display settings and see what it says
if its not then click display adapter properties go to the monitor tab and switch the screen refresh rate.

Does your monitor support FreeSync or G-Sync? Try to disable it.
Sounds stupid. Try unplugging and replugging in your display port or monitor cable. I actually had this problem with deep rock over a year ago and it lasted over a month on and off. Unplugging and replugging the cable back in seemed to fix it, as well as a variety of other tactile solutions...none of it software related at the time (restarting/stopping starting Free Sync, going in and out of HDR or changing the monitor settings). Eventually upgraded to a higher quality display port cable. I'm also now on an Ultra Wide monitor, but the problem subsided before I got that.

Was running an RTX 260Super at the time...it went away. Have been on a 3080 since February on the same cable and still no problems.

It supports g sync and it is usually on. I disabled it and the problem persists.

Ive tried re-seating the cable and changing the settings you mentioned. No luck. I’ve played DRG many many times on this same DP cable without any issues. All other games run totally fine at 144fps and monitor at 144hz. I don’t think it’s the cable as it’s a high quality DP cable.

I’ve seen two other people report this issue, one on the DRG discord and one on steam under another thread.
Hmmm... Just wondering if you installed any applications related to the GPU recently.

I had MSI Afterburner on my old PC, and it comes with RivaTuner which has the ability to limit FPS. Not sure if your PC has anything like that.

Also, maybe try reinstalling the game. Sometimes technical stuff are just... Strange, you know.
same problem here :pfff:
