heres a guide with variety for each weapon, some might be slightly outdated but good for a starting point
All in all though I absolutely love the fat boy. Even while being blamed for team damage when all that is really happening is one of the radioactive praetorians are getting frisky.
I say use it all you want. The problem with its friendly fire is that people just don't seem to know how to use it. The more players we can convince to start using Fat Boy, the better the overall skill of players with it will become. I think.
Btw, it's amazing on Escort missions. You know how every time the dozer starts making a tunnel (that's oh-so conveniently about the diameter of a Fat Boy blast) and it just fills up with enemies? It's amazing. Plus you have the benefit of the dozer constantly moving, so risk of friendly fire is minimal.
Agreed, there is a time and a place for it. I just don't like how situational it is. too many times an area is too small and this weapon almost becomes one of the map hazards. It makes things interesting, thats for sure. Practice does make perfect, but I don't like being the hiker on the shooting range.
