It's pretty much one of my global top 3 perks.
It has a lot of useful uses, including parkouring across the map.
Never thought I'd be fulfilling my parkour fantasy on dwarf game XD
Only thing I'd have added was showcasing that neurotoxin can still apply to the dreadnought even if the shot doesn't damage it. Very useful for slowing them down just a bit and tossing in some chip damage.
Do be careful not to jeopardize the mission of course. If a surprise wave shows up it's time to poor the poison on.
It's true that experienced players think differently. They are more aware of the little decisions they make in every step they take. The point of view you shared can be quite helpful for newer players.
