Record demo for benchmarking?
Is there a way to consistently benchmark DRG for the purposes of comparing effects of different hardware combinations on game performance throughout a dive?

Yes and no, I looked into this a few months ago. The only semi consistent method would be to do your testing with either the normal deep dive or elite deep dive. The issue there is you'd have to redo testing every time you wanted to test new hardware, with all the previous hardware used. The alternative method which I used, and is far from perfect, was to gather performance data from the first few minutes of several PE missions of a particular biome then average them all together. It's a ton more work, but I won't have to redo testing with previous hardware once I upgrade in the future.

You could use the tutorial mission. That's always static and always there. Not sure the tutorial is a good representative of what the true game is going to hit your hardware with. And of course, that's not a Dive either. I don't think a benchmarking option in the game would be too outrageous of an enhancement/QOL suggestion.

Thanks for the ideas.
