Its sad, will have to put the game down now until its released. Wont waste more playtime to then have to go through the basic stuff yet again. I have completed the tutorial missions (the starter assignments) easily 4 times now because every time an update hits it gets set back to default.
Im really tired of this. While i like unlocking stuff, i have to say it was much better in its early versions when there wasnt so much stuff to unlock.
I feel like i have to play the game 20 hours after each update to get to the same progress point and finally have the equipment i had before.
I wont do that all the time.
But not this time.
Since there are older saves available, i assume theres some sort of cloud save active. I ever have cloud saving enabled if a game supports that.
Which is, ♥♥♥♥♥, to put it mildly.
As said, my conclusion to this is, i deinstalled the game and wait till release. I wont go through the unlocking process and material grind for certain upgrades again.
Yes, i like playing the game also without unlocking something, but especially the missions bound to the assignments and a few materials were tedious to do and i was happy to complete them.
Its a great game, but losing progress in it is just a big hit that took dozens of hours of playtime.
