I Love him actually , nothing to do with My beagle being called bosco tho :)

That said I think it would be cool, and just like the mule everyone would issue him orders, I think he should NOT have a revive tho in co-op, but should have the mine ability and guns, then say if its 3 players then give him the mine ability only so no more guns, and then 4 players would be still bosco but no mine, his only use would be as a light source.

I think bosic with 2 man groups would be nice, also what is the downside to it at all? not like its a competive game. so wouldnt effect anyones game but your own. dumb people

While we're at it, just give everybody a button that completes the objectives for them. It's not like it's a competitive game afterall. Let's also just make everyone level 20 and give free upgrades. Why do we even have health bars or ammo? Those things are for competitive games.

To have Bosco would remove the need for some class weapons like the flare gun and the grapple gun as Bosco covers both at the same time or get rid of the gattling gun wile we're at it. You need to think about what Bosco dose in a solo event that other classes can do as well.
I don't see a problem with Bosco filling in for a human player. You still have to micro-manage it. Make it an option to bring Bosco and have it count as an extra player for non solo games to scale difficulty by # of players.

We can have another called Rosco. Bosco and Rosco ;)

Micromanage how? It's point and click. Click monster to have it dead. Click ore to have it mined. It's op in anything but solo.

That's why it would be scaled as a 4 player game or available only in higher hazards. You make it sound dumb downed too much.

It might be, but this is also a game where you can choose form a number of difficulty levels. If you want to use him anything but solo, it could perhaps lower the Payout like making the difficulty easier.

Scaled how? At two players it becomes a damn mobile flashlight? I've never once played a match with competent people and thought, "Damn, I could really use Bosco."

Ask the devs how it's scaled. I read it scales by # of players. If you think it needs to be harder than let them know.

The OP gets it. It's just fun.
I play with my younger brother and we don't want other randoms all the time, that's where Bosco comes in.
