I've never heard of that, is it some kind of 3rd party program that enables split screen for games that don't have it?
Honestly curious!
Apparently yes, it is a tool that allows co-op in games that don't support it, it's an open-source project it seems.
Further searching turned up this list of supported games and Deep Rock is included.
Nucleus co-op apparently, a 3rd party program; go look into it.
It uses this thing called goldberg emulator which might have a virus as well or not idk don't wanna find out.
It's a feature most AAA titles don't include, for a variety of reasons, but one of them being they don't feel it's worth it. After all, how often do folks need to play LAN, where the internet is not available? And, if it Is available, how much is the experience actually improved? Not saying it's impossible but I don't see it, and I wouldn't necessarily want them to devote resources to it personally. And that's from the perspective of someone who regularly "lan parties" this game with friends, we just are all connected to the internet while we play together in the same room.
But idk if it has virus, use antivirus.
