Can we have a "Bosco, bring me what you're holding" command?
I swear, he acts like the kid who's taller than everyone else, taking stuff then holding it over their heads where they can't grab it, going "Reach for it! Reach for it!" Half the time he just... flies away with stuff when I'm jumping up trying to get it from him.

By default it'll come straight to you once it's done whatever you commanded it to do last. Though like Molly, it has a tendency to shift around for no convenient reason.

Seems like he comes close to show me he got it, then just turns around and screws off like I ordered him to go in the opposite direction. Even made a post a few days ago about how he flew over to a wall with a compressed gold and dropped it *inside* the wall.
So tell him to drop it WHEN HE BRINGS IT to you, Dwarf literally told you that X makes him drop it, so force him to drop it when he brings it to you.

I guess my issue is just that he usually flies away over some pit or hazard that I don't want him to drop whatever it is, into. IDK, maybe I'm making an issue out of something unimportant, but it's obnoxious when it happens.

The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Know what? Fair enough. You right.

Yes, press X and he'll drop it.

The only problem happens when you're standing on a tiny platform next to a cliff... God knows why or how that mini-mule got there, but it gives a massive pain in the bum for sure.

Would be nice if Bosco can stay a bit closer when he's holding heavy objects. I won't ask you to bring it if I don't want to take it, duh.

I wish bosco would come closer when he's holding something. Often he'll be out of reach to take things off of him and if you command him to drop things it can cause problems, especially on point extraction maps.

That's exactly what I was trying to get at with the post. Unfortunately it seems the consensus is literally just "Suck it up"

Not always. Plenty of time here and I agree, bosco can be really annoying when carrying wallgems. Likes to hover just out of reach and float away if you get closer.

Button "X" doesnt make him drop it. Its a command that makes bosco be USELESS.

The monsters are attacking and you press x. He will shine light on you for as long as he wants and only then he will start shooting at enemies.

Button x should be drop button, that would make bosco to drop the egg or something and immediatly do other auto pilot tasks like, mob killing.

So, no button x is identical to pressing ctrl+ something.

X works.

Now can we have a "Get the hell out of the wall, Bosco" command?
