How do I equip perks, where is the perk slot?
I been unlocking some perks, and I see one perk that says New Perk Slot equip 2 perks at a time, but I don't see where I've equipped even one, I thought unlocking these perks activates them but I guess not, where's the equip perk screen?

It's on the equipment screen, the same as the one where you upgrade your characters and weapons. There are five boxes placed in a column next to the weapons; those are the perk slots.

I too was a bit confused as to how to equip perks when I began playing, it's not immediately obvious how to do it.

Ah there it is, I even thought "maybe it's on the equipment screen" but missed it when I looked

Now I see in the perks bar that says to promote the character once to unlock another perk slot, how do I promote my gunner he's at lvl 17 now

Get to 25, and take the promotion assignment from the terminal.

How do I upgrade the higher level perks, I'm looking at this perk in the 5th column but don't have some requirement, do I need a certain number of unlocks in each column to proceed? 0Need to know the specifics so I don't waste too much points

Oh oh right arrows I see these arrows now, I need one more arrow to be highlighted, ok well I guess I'll just wait for that to happen and sit here guessing what makes the next arrow highlight, thanks

Yea I think I'm starting to understand, I like your style of helping, leading me with derision on the trail to the answer, I was so confused cause I didn't notice arrow highlighting so I wasn't sure if it was tied to the character level or something else also I unlocked extra perks in the first columns so from my view it was harder to correlate
