A Warning About The Blackout Stout

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but if you drink the Blackout Stout right as soon as mission countdown ends, you will be extremely intoxicated to the point you can't do the mission.

Just don't do it, it's nearly impossible to play because you walk without using keyboard/controller.

I can confirm this. You have to be very precise with your timing to not pass out before loading screen but if you do it right you can be absolutely drunk the entire duration of the Deep Dive.

For me it lasted 1 hour and 40 minutes.

This is how all beer works. If you get drunk before the mission you'll pretty much be drunk the whole mission. Nothing new. It does wear off but very, VERY slowly.

I always just considered it a "dwarfier than the elf beer" way of resetting your drunk state.

No, not all. In all other cases dwarves sober up in 15-20 minutes. And they'll be sober if they fall and be resurrected (emergency flask is filled with Leaf Lover's Special: confirmed!).

Just found this out today by accident. Thought it would be funny if we were all downed by the time the mission started, but instead I had the worse motion sickening journey in my life.
