6/7 Egg Hunt, last egg nowhere to be found

im in a game with my friend right now where the last egg is absolutely nowhere. it has been an hour probably and we have turned the map upside down. there is nothing.

I'm just gonna state the obvious here just in the rare case of you not knowing: Pressing tab should show you the eggs on the map.
There was a bug before the last update i encountered where, as a client, the eggs were invisible in my eviroment aswell as the map. Make sure that the host is looking for them if you have the feeling that it might be bugged... Also sometimes eggs are obsturcted on the map depending on the angle you look from, wobble around a little, maybe you get lucky. If you don't maybe you have to end up canceling the mission, but usualy there are enough eggs.

we are both looking in the ingame world and the minimap, and we are aware you need to look at them from the opposite side. there simply arent any more spots left that could house them. we hollowed out every single mass and there isnt anything left on the map.

Well in that case i'm clueless... Afaik the egg can't drop out of the map, so it should not be possible to "lose" one... As i've mentiond before, maybe something with the spawn went wrong, i'd just cancel the mission in those rare cases where you just can't find all eggs... Better than wasing 2 hours searching for it and ending up dying cause you run out of ammo...

Edit: not seeing your game in the list, if it's you hosting it, and not seeing any egg hunts that have been up long enough. Did you guys quit the mission?

Bummer, I've noticed a lot of invisible eggs lately.

Dwarfs walking by with their arms out holding nothing and I'm like "huh?" then suddenly they depot and the egg counter goes up.

I've only seen this bug happen to people who joined in progress, the host should be able to see the egg

This happened to me last night -- couldn't see the final egg anywhere on the minimap. The egg was eventually recovered, though I'm not sure if it's because my teammates saw it visually, or their minimaps worked OK.

Just did an egg hunt mission, 4 out of the 5 eggs were all grouped together and last egg just didnt exist...

Yup, I also had a mission with the last egg missing.A couple of nests were empty, it was imèpossible to complete.

I had something similar before, we ended up finding the egg far up at the tunnel tge drop pod left from after leaving us there, like really far up.

hade the same thing last night then starting in full team. last egg no were to be found,
so we where force to end the mission after running around looking all over the map. (45 mins of looking around)

we did even have the driller digging upp .. and down and at the sides to try see id we culd se the last egg 9/10, this happend on the a saltpitt map.

This happens with the 10 egg maps, too, as evidenced by one of my sessions last night.
