Although I understand the sentiment, I tend to only agree somewhat. There do seem to be a lot of people who are doing very 'silly' things at the moment - it's like there was a Steam Sale and all the trolls bought the game this month.
There is a Discord where you can be heard and share opinions and suggestions as well;

3 Gunners is actually totally viable, and insanely effective in Extermination Missions, for smashing Dreadnaughts, and Point Extraction (Ziplines are still king)
Again, 2 Engineers + scout + one other is META for Salvage - so sometimes haveing 2 of one class can work well, although the game is best balanced in Mining Expeditions with 1 of each class.
Nope. I guess you haven't tried Overwatch. At least from the beginning, there could have been 2 to 3 of the same toon on a map, just because. The occurance nowadays is kinda rare because of the "yuge" number of heroes to select from, except in pushes where new heroes are included.
You might as well yell at the Sun to stop burning you when you try Diablo and half the team are Necros or something. It doesn't bother me a bit, because if the team handles themselves well, why does it not benefit you in return?
Granted, there's only 4 "classes", but who knows if the dev team has a few more archtypes to publish out. The game is a blast. Literally.
Things like:
- Try to avoid friendly fire, especially with explosives, and saying sorry can help. (Acknowledge you made a mistake!)
- Take only one ammo pack from a supply pod, then make sure it's okay before taking another. (Four ammo packs, four players, each restores 50%, you can't use two packs without waste!)
- While the game doesn't prevent you from taking any class, taking a class the team already has can inhibit the team, where taking an unclaimed one is rarely a bad move. (Multiples of classes can work, even be overpowered, but it can backfire, while an even distribution generally won't.)
- Understand how your class works, and more importantly, how it works with other classes. (Class synergies are powerful!)
- There is no benefit for being competitive. (The better the team does as a whole, the better the rewards for everyone!)
- Pay attention to what molly is doing, and who is calling for her, and repeatedly calling her makes her come slower. (If someone called for her first, it's good form to let them deposit first before calling her over to you if you can't make it over to them!)
- Stick together with the team, together we stand tall against the glyphid hoards, seperated we fall and become glyphid chow. (Cover each others' backs, you can't revive yourself! [personalcomment]That includes you scout![/personalcomment])
- Make sure it's okay with your team before you call the drop pod, the host can have final say in the decision, but make sure everyone is ready to leave before you press the button. (You don't want to leave valuable minerals behind, do you? You can do the same with supply pods, it doesn't hurt to ask!)
For example.Number 3 pertains to what you are wanting OP. This wouldn't be a bunch of rules, hosts can run their lobbies how they want, but this would give players, especially newbies, a good idea on how to act and not get kicked. Covering these topics would be excellent parts of a tutorial.
Probably, your wish will never going to be published "in-game" or happen niceley "in-game", but I would clearly support a Mod stickying your tips to the top. Won't stop griefers, though, and I might point out, it's kind of pointlessly beating to death what should be common sense; still, though...it's "conduct".
Nothing can truly stop trolls and griefers, save perhaps the extermination of the human race, but that might be going too far.
And while it may be common sense to you and me, there are people who just need it written out for it to finally be clear to them. Stating the obvious can be useless, yes, but at least it isn't harmful to those who don't need it, unless you really value your time I guess.
