More than 4 players planned?
My group of friends likes to play games together and sometimes we are 6 people playing at the same time. Is it planned to allow for more dwarves in the future when there is more classes? Theoretically the difficulty scaling should allow for that.

Of course the main experience should still be 4 player coop, but allowing for more would be great.

It would be cool if they allowed two sets of four at the very least. That could accompany more miners.

There used to be a glitch where people could keep joining a server even if it was full.

I've seen 7 dwarves in one game, worked perfectly fine, although it was a cake walk. (Even at Haz4.)

The only real issue was keeping everyone's ammo up.

16 player hosting would be insane if the devs make more boss tier bugs, like mini raid parties.

Im planning of playing this game in COOP..(2 players). Is that viable?

I would say a full team is more fun and viable, but two players is certainly possible. You might have to find more 'jury-rigged' solutions to problems, more often then not it might just be 'dig around it', which even then is the driller's forte. You will have gaps, problems you need to solve and you won't have the tools to handle it, but every character can jump, walk, fight bugs, and dig, which is all you need to eventually get you through anything.

Just pick your classes carefully, you want two that work together well. Scout and Engineer are good of course, the Scout can get anywhere there is a foothold, and the Engineer can build footholds wherever he can see, Engineer also has good crowd control, Scout has excellent single-target weapons. Another is Gunner and Driller, Driller can build paths \through rock, and Gunner can build paths over gaps, the Gunner and Driller are pretty much kings of single-target and crowd control respectively.

And I have for the most part had fine experiences with pubs, occasional encounters with players who don't know which end of the pickaxe to hold, and occasional encounters with players who will stop at nothing to put that pickaxe in your eye, but just don't take things too seriously. Some jerk who ruined your mission isn't worth starting the insurrection over, just kick them (if host,) or leave the mission (if they're host, or host doesn't kick them,) and find a new one.
