Personally I like them, as well as all the new enviromental hazards, really sets this game apart from other enemy based horde shootem ups.
The cave is as much a character and an enemy as the bugs are.
But it didn´t drag my PC down thus far
And my computer is by no means of good quality so the stuttering/freezing definately might just be for lower end users. But still was odd considering the rest of the game gives me no problems.
Thanks again for the replies!
Ditto. And not just for yourself, but it also trivilaizes bug attacks if they're funneled into the arcing.
When shot in an attempt to remove them, they do get fizzly and bright. It leads me to wonder - is this safe for people prone to epileptic episodes? Even accidentally shooting a crystal produces the effect.
I'm not saying it is an epilepsy risk. I'm asking *if* it might be.
Don't need ammo to destroy them, just dig down diagonally a few feet away from the crystal while facing it and work you way to the bottom of the crystal. It can't hit you there but you can destroy it. Destroy the rocks AROUND the base of the crystal rather than hit the crystal itself and it will be destroyed in a matter of seconds.
Runs smooth on my end, what's your specs?
Nice tip, thanks!
Same, was just in a huge room with literally dozens of them; no problems. (Except the obvious issue of being electrocuted to death lol.)
Seems several of the people mentioning this are on AMD's to me? Could be platform/hardware specific.
I have always been a Nvidia/Intel guy.
