Pretty sure it's intentional. I mean, I found a really rare ore one time that had silver spikes and it was glistening. Like most resources we take from the planet, it was glowing to tell us it was able to be mined. I mined it all and got no notification that I picked up ore but at the end I received 2 ERR://23☼Y%/.

Now it could definitely be an error in the coding or maybe the dwarves can't identify this ore themselves. I just find it odd that they'd integrate a rare ore that has a graphic and a place in the world... but not a mineral for it.

It's name actually means "ERR-ORE" and will be a future crafting material. Get as many as you can until it becomes even more difficult to find.

i have 3 of it already. and i can tell you it is not as i thought %age rely. we found 2 on 100% diff 1 on 75% and 1 on 50% but sadly died once. i think it is as mentioned before intended to be the "ERROR ORE" and im sure its not just a bug or something.

pls mind that deeprock galactic is an early access game. in a final version you could suggest that this ore is intended to be implemented as it is. but in its early stage and partial implementation in the game (can already be mined but not used) its likely to be just a step towards the full implementation of this ore

It's been said by the DEV's that it's going to be a very rare and valuble Gem or something like that, so they say to hold on to them for now.
