Is there or will there be Split Screen Co-Op?

A flaw is a mistake made in something's design. Something intentionally left out is not a flaw. In this case it's not spending dev time on a fairly niche option. Split screen is nice but you can just lan it out.

That's why it's a flawed design. Everything about this screams Co-Op, so why isn't Split Screen available?

Maybe because it isn't possible? Or maybe it is but the developers decided not to do it? or the publishers? Maybe it is because the publishers want more people to buy the game? Who knows.

You could say it is a missed missed opportunity, but not a design flaw. A design flaw is giving the players melee weapons to fight against enemies they cannot reach.

I will concede it is a missed opportunity and not a design flaw, but It is by all means possible. Co-Op is everywhere in this game and adding Splitscreen wouldn't harm their the game in the slightest. They would've had my money by tomorrow if this game had Split screen. I would've been fine with waitng 4 months for splitscreen but not a year for a modder to do a Dev's job.

Same! This game looks incredible but my friends and I only play in person and never online! I cant ask them to all get gaming laptops and this game just so we can all play and I have no desire to play it alone! :s

I think all PC games should be required by law to implement OFFLINE-LAN before they do splitscreen or any of that other crap. Had to skip way too many (probably)otherwise decent games.

Unfortunately split-screen is a dying feature of most games now that the internet is so prevalent in most peoples lives. To expect any developer adding it to their game in 2019 would be a big surprise.

if your looking for a good split screen game check out helldivers, not really split screen but it has local coop and all players share the same screen.
