Lag, freezing and audio bug.

Early on in missions my game starts to periodically lag and freeze coupled with an audio glitch that slows it down and crackles the crap out of it.
My comp specs are above whats required and runs fine even when the game is wigging out.
Tried varifying the game, tried to run as admin, restarted the comp. Wiggy wiggy can do the diggy.

I bought this game yesterday and played 4 hours with no issues. But when i came back same issue start happening. All fine when i am in lobby, but when i load to the lvl it start freezing each 3-4 seconds and audio bugging (making audio noize). It happense if i am join party or when i am alone. First minute is fine but then it hits. Other than that game runs awesome for me. Game reinstall not helping.
P.S. Feels like some kind of sound bug (cant load sound and freezing whole game), but i am no specialist. Also it similar to freezes when games try to load something (new location or part of the lvl it didint loaded before). Except this one happens way too often to comfortably play the game.

Could you please tell us OP if you're using an AMD CPU ? Also have you tried launching the game with the -nosound flag in the Properties of the game -> Set Launch options ?

Doesn't this disable sound? That's quite a compromise.

It does, it's not a solution, just a way to help the devs fix the source of the issue, if most AMD CPU users have the same problem and can be fixed the same way the devs will know where to look at to fix it.

I was having the same issues, GPU drivers update fixed it

And you should make a new thread about it, instead of necroing a one-month necro of a two-year thread. They've long since marked this specific issue as resolved, so if there's another issue causing the problem, it needs to be brought up in a new thread.

Well I might as well contribute to the 2+ year old thread. Go into settings, general, and slap a big fat X next to "disable master EQ"
