I'm sure there's ways to tone down motion sickness without going third person, and if so, that'd be great to implement. I just think third person would ruin a bit of the immersion as well as some of the challenge.
For now, I've heard messing around with the FoV can help.
Third person would totally remove that risk.
If FPS games make you sick... well sorry sad to say better find another genre of games to play. It sort of comes with the territory. I find the guy who has no rpoblems with KF2 of all games very unusual! KF2 is an incredibly fast-paced, action-packed twitchfest.
But whatever works for you.
The fluent fast movement is what i love/loved about drg but the devs made everything less fluent with animations, slippery and bumpy grounds. I really disliked these updates and they made the game a lot less fun for me but i got used to.
Yep i know this is a necro :P
I mean the dwarfs are rather thick so that could obscure quite a bit of information.
