-double turrets does 4,5 dmg each but with the mod it's 9 each so both do 18 dmg if aim at the same target
-while the other one does 7 you double that it's 14
but yeah no target Prio is kinda meh
It needs at least a +50% damage and +100% Range vs. the marked target. That would make it much better by turning the MKII into a sniper turret or increasing the burst damage on gemini turrets towards marked specials.
Turret whip also needs to be buffed with a larger AoE size to make it benefit from from the marking without missing it's opportunity (and to make it more viable in general). Allowing it to benefit from the +50% damage and range above would also help it be more useful as a long range artillery against large specials.
Definitely needs some sort of buff.
Shame that Target Prioritization is on the weak end of things, though.
When I do remember and use it, It can have surprisingly Long Range and uses -- Last really good one was a few days ago on an Egg Hunt- one or those "Pit/Giant Hole" maps - I placed both my turrets on 2 different Ledges, and there was a Warden down Low, doing some constant spawning of grunts, some of which were slashers- now I could see that bulbous Pink Punk, but it was almost directly underneath me- after trying to trick shot 2 Grenade rounds, missing, and not wanting to waste any more ammo- I Laser pointed for Bosco to get it- WHAM, one of my turrets bent downward and unloaded on the Warden- did a bunch of damage and flushed it into the open where both turrets then Locked and killed it
In general I use the Targeting on Eliminations or against Praes with the Armor Piercers- that works well (although I tend to just slam Praes with the GL and Shotgun) - In theory you can Target Mactera, but the auto-fire from turrets tends to kill them quicker anyway
Not the best, but it can work
