The Unstable Lead Storm can be useful however the handicap is seriously unforgiving if you're not careful.
Clean
Thin drum wall is simple but solid and works great with a max dps fire bullet set up.
Extra oomph can get you down to 0.1 spin up time, so if you like a responsive machine this is good.
Balanced
Burning hell
looks cool and built to be used with aggressive heat venting. A weird set up but could be fun.
Compact feed +800 -4rof
A simple but extremely strong oc. Your sustain is through the roof and allows you to max dps with 3200 rds.
Unstable
Bullet Hell
Practically requires accuracy and damage mod but makes you a terror against swarmers/jellies and solid against grunts especially if you use blowthrough. The single target dps suffers but this is easily solved by a properly moded bulldog.
Lead Storm +50% damage/ can't move and shoot.
I don't have it yet but going by the numbers with some play style tweaks, this could easily be the most deadly oc by far. This makes lead storm a dps power house and the total damage output is insane. It hits several break points (like being able to 1 shot swarmers) and bulks/dreads will fear you.
Edit: if you're deciding between thin drum and compact feed, so long as you're not running out of ammo, go with thin drums. I personally use compact feed due to how I play and the way lead storm build heat so I really put lead down range.
If lead storm is nerfed, so long as it's at least 30%, it could still be good, just not as easily argued the best. The lack of movement isn't that bad since we can barely move while shooting anyway.
If you can't hit for beans with the Lead Storm, you'll burn through your ammo too fast, the Thunderhead is much more forgiving about near-misses or shots on armor because you just pound groups away with splash damage.
They feel pretty well balanced if you ask me.
And I was pretty sure this was going to happen. Naming an overclock the same as the weapon may not have been the best move I feel.
Well, that's egg on my face.
