Endless Night is a wave shooter that sets the right mood as soon as you are anchored in the middle of the street. Gun selection is very limited at this time (semiauto pistol or double barrel shotgun/hand cannon...dual weild). Graphics are decent, creature animations are above average for many VR shooters I have seen (this is something I hope ALL developers improve on). Sounds are fitting for the creatures and add a good level of spookiness. The waves difficulty progression seems balanced to allow the player to adjust and learn the monster movements and weaknesses...then it starts to throw mixed moster waves and it ramps up the adrenaline. I have not survived enough to see if the location ever moves (there is no movement....you are planted in your VR box so give yourself a little room). Overall, a fun game that keeps you on your toes until you die...seriously, they just keep coming!

Welcome to Endless Night - Alpha, another wave-based shooter and another abandoned VR title that hasn't been touched by its creator(s) in going on three years now. Launched at the end of 2016, it's no wonder why this game amassed a positive rating given the little content available for consumer virtual reality at the time. It works, has decent graphics, and it has endless waves of monsters; from flying one-eyed creatures, to spiders, grim reapers, and giant hulking behemoths. As for the choice of weapons, there's a pistol and a shotgun; you can dual-wield or take one of each.

If publisher/developer Yerawizard LLC had followed through with the work, Endless Night - Alpha could've become a very early leader in both wave-based shooters and horror in VR. Sadly now the market is overrun by both genres, leaving little rough games such as this to fall into the sands of time. There's no sense in working on it now, and it's clear that the developer has known this for a while, since they threw this release onto the market and abandoned it on the spot.

This was a fun game, while the aiming was a little off, the monsters were quite scary, and it had a great atmosphere. Lots of potential. Just looked back to see if it had any updates, but looks like its been abandoned. Real shame, looked like it could have been a great game.

Endless Night - Alpha is a Early Access VR shooter game. It worked on my system, looked good, played good, sounded good. You have a choice of sawed off double barrel shotguns and .45 pistol. Took me awhile to figure out how to reload the shotguns. The guns look easy enough to aim accurately. Very challenging later rounds.

Try it, you might like it.

I played this on the Oculus Rift with Touch controllers and it played fine. You don't really need a roomscale setup, but it it recommended if you want to do well.

So this is a mediocre, horror-themed stand within your playspace wave shooter. You will have to dodge at times and enemies do come from 360. Both flying and walking. Both large and small. Why you're standing in the middle of the street, no one knows.

You have either 2 handguns or 2 sawed off shotguns. Shotguns are definitely easier and they actually reload pretty quick. Handguns feel like peashooters honestly. Reloads are automatic after you empty the clip. You do have to slightly flip up or down the shotgun to reload properly.


Rating 5/10 For the free price, it's a worthy download if you can stomach another average wave shooter, probably one of the better free wave shooters, but that's not saying much

A kinda creepy shooter wave game where you just stand there at the night in the middle of a street and shooting on everything that moves. Yes, it's just like that with 2 (softair) weapons to choose, but the overall detail of the game looks pretty good including the animations.

It doesn't look like it will get more updates though, but since it's free I won't complain!

this game is more then worth the space on your computer. great concept and acceptable graphics. I cant wait for more guns and enviroments. i enjoy dodging swipes from reapers amd gunnning down the giant nopes(spiders) i would have paid a few bucks just for whatt been done so far. keep up the good work developer persons.

Overall this is a good game, it has made me jump a few times. The visuals are not too bad, typical for Unity Engine, the game does start off slow then ramps up pretty quick. A gun angle adjustment would be a perfect add to the game. For a free game this is a worthy game to own.
