Hi everyone, I'm Neil, the developer of Starwinder.

Starwinder started life as a game I was writing on the Amiga, and I've rebuilt it from scratch for PC. It's a vertical-scrolling shoot-em-up with ground targets, and it launches on Steam on Tuesday, November 24 for $9.99.

• 14 worlds, 7 per run, drawn at random. Difficulty rises with your place in the run, so the first stage is always the gentlest and the last the toughest, whichever worlds you get.

• Every enemy fights differently. 112 attacks, each with its own projectile. Dangerous ones show a warning first, so busy screens stay readable.

• A mini boss ends every stage, each with a signature move, and a multi-limbed final boss waits at the end. Rip off its claws, weapons and engines piece by piece.

• Scoring: a kill chain up to x8, grazing, medals for clearing every ground structure in a section, bullets turning into score gems when a boss dies, and a D-to-S grade after each stage.

• Loop 2: clear the campaign without a continue and you go round again through the 7 worlds you didn't play, with revenge bullets and double points.

• Modes: Campaign, Daily Challenge, Boss Rush and Practice, with Steam leaderboards and 14 achievements.

• Play together: 2-player local co-op or alternating play, and online co-op through Steam Remote Play Together. Full controller support.

If it looks like your kind of game, a wishlist helps a lot. Steam will also email you the day it comes out.
