any way of changing to half life's 2 gore or hiding zombie's gore?

this sounds stupid but my heart can not handle human gore but can handle headcrab gore
i have all official half life games i think but i really wanna carry on playing but i need to know if there is a mod that changes the zombies into the half life's 2 or cover up the gore.

true. i found a mod that replaces the models to half life 1 but yeah you are right, half life is not for me

you may be able to use console commands to do it. I haven't tested these but saw them posted in another thread

put this in your launch options of the game and give it a try

+r_decals_default_start_fade 0

or change the number to 1 if 0 does not work, but not tested yet

sorry man, i asked the same question and got no answer, on the workshop i've only seen enhancers for it, i think the best solutions are making your own mod or waiting for a mod to come out.
