Missing Textures

So.. for some reason, Half-Life: Alyx just randomly started giving me missing textures, and the more I progressed, the worse it became, and then the game crashed. Is there any fix to this? Previously it always crashed, even while loading in, and yes I have a good enough PC as it used to work very well a while back. I have tried verifying the files, but that did not work.

Also, if the verify doesn't fix it, sometimes it's worth deleting and reinstalling fully.

I do not have any mods enabled, and I have tried reinstalling the game.

Just a little note that this only happens in the first chapter (Entanglement), but the other chapters can sometimes crash.

Okay it turns out it has spread to other chapters, now I see errors in other chapters, crashing included.

I managed to solve it by removing all my mods and then right after I had to verify the files, and now I can finally play the game (but with some performance issues, this is related to my computer slowly losing performance and I can not do anything to stop it), otherwise thanks for all the help

What I meant by “I do not have any mods” is that none of them were enabled, I accidentally phrased it wrong, sorry.

Would be great if you share it , because not only you need help and hopes for help. I always find it funny that people look for help but don't share it once the problem is solved. You don't need to write the solution because of me bec im done with the game after 2000hrs, but there are certainly others who are looking for help.

It was my mods! I managed to fix it after removing all of my mods. Even if they are disabled, they can modify the game!

I have already fixed the issue, but I have a GTX 1070, Intel Core I5-7400, and 16GB RAM. Everything is okay now.
