I don't think my graphics card is the issue, a 2070 super, because, if it would be the graphics card performance, virtual desktop would also be lagy with the ethernet connection.
If you look in the forum here, you see several complaining about the steam link hang ups.
As I said, I was pretty sure it was down to my WiFi connection.
Game worked perfectly the first day, just somtimes drop in quality for rate adaption.
Also 2nd day in the mornings, crahses started afternoons.
Same the next few days, so the thought was, overload on the WiFi frequency but as I said, steam link also failed then with ethernet.
VD never compeltely brok only lags which are completely gone with the ethernet cable.
So yes, best woudl be either steam link or VD on wifi, as playing that game with cable is a bit anoying but since bothe have issues, the ethernet cable is the next best thing, sinc that is can be and is way longer than the link cable.
Anyway, in general a good way to have max quality with cable outside of Oculus Link.
Whcih funny enough doesn't work with Ethernet, at least it doesn't allow a connection with diabled wifi.
WiFI router is WiFi 6 and in the same room, no 3 meters away but not dedicated soley to the Quest 3.
