And i don't mean PSVR1 with that incredible crappy Tracking - i meant PSVR2.
You don't need Basestations. Inside Out Tracking has come a long way :)
Basestations are for people who think that Lighthouse tracking brings extreme Advantages. And I'm not saying that Lighthouse isn't the best tracking you can have (it is the best currently), but the leap to today's inside out solutions is manageable. Base stations will not have a future either in my Opinion.
- I had the Valve index with Base Stations = money thrown out
- I had the HTC Vive with Base Stations = money thrown out
- I had the Rift S = Except for the well-known USB problem top glasses at the time
- I had the Quest 3 for testing = I would buy it any time, but not for the price and need more Quality Updates
I currently have the HP Reverb G2 and am completely satisfied with it (also with the tracking ...which is not perfect but also not as bad as always said. Rather, people have problems because they have poor lighting in the room, too many reflective surfaces and so on.
Like the part with Jeff
We just don't know if Valve even tried.
You really think Sony would refuse HL: Alyx being on their store? Cmon man
Since 2 years ago, Sony actually changed their stance, and now I think they wouldn't.
But the Sony from 2 years ago - definitely would.
