dude its a horror game.....blood and gore is horror.....theres really not alot of "blood " in the game....but theres tons of dead bodies.....good luck getting rid of that

Ask for a refund (if you bought it) and play that game with the little mouse in the forest .
If you choose to extract yourself from violence and all that comes with it, don't buy games that are based on it, you could easily watch videos and game walk through so you knew what it was about

The game has people screaming drenched in blood with headcrabs latched onto them.

I did not notice a lot of blood actually. The red color you see when looking at a dead body is just the color of your muscles and organs. Liquid blood I don't recall there being any though. The environments are cluttered but there not covered with blood.

No, it's pretty tame as games go. Just a certain key character once crushed, if you take that option, looks quite graphic!

For real; while I agree its dumb to want to turn it of, there is a way to do it so like, why not just give him the answer.

For all we know he is doing it for performance based reasons.

Yeah but let's be honest, there is literally no gore in this game, maybe a couple blood decals and such when you shoot enemies, but apart from that it's almost non-existent, removing the blood decals won't improve performance in this case, since you are not constantly killing enemies in this game, so if it is for performance it's ridiculous. Why doesn't he ask "how to improve performance" or just go into settings and lower a couple things, instead of removing something that will not change the way the game runs. If it is because he doesn't like blood, why tf would you buy a game like this just to remove something that adds to the element of horror, it just sounds dumb, don't buy the game.
