It's on Auto on default if i'm not mistaken.
I have Motion smoothing turned OFF as well.
when I had it set to Auto I also experienced what you're explaining as well when I entered areas that needed a lot more cpu and GPU power.
Setup:
★ PSU: Corsair RM850
★ Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z590 GAMING X (Latest BIOS F.6)
★ CPU: Intel Core i9 11900K 3.5 GHz, [5.3 GHz clocked]
★ GPU: Gigabyte Geforce RTX 3080 Ti 12GB GAMING OC
★ RAM: Corsair 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600MHz CL18 Vengeance LPX
★ Cooling: Corsair iCUE H100i RGB PRO XT
★ Sound card: Creative Sound BlasterX AE-5
★ HDD: Samsung 980 PRO | M.2 NVMe SSD 1TB
★ OS: Windows 11
Unfortunately i've already done that. Still the image quality is not as sharp as i would expect it. Same thing in WMR and SteamVR. Probably its just the headsets quality?
Ive linked an image above. Does the game look like that on your end or do you have sharp smooth edges overall?
Cmon guys pls help. I just spend 700 bucks on a gpu and i really think it wasnt worth it because the game dosnt look better at all. Ive just got some more frames i guess.
HP Reverb g2
and no the $700 2060 wasn't worth it regardless of VR perforamnce.
There is no other card around that pricepoint that would justify a buy right now imo.
However,
so half life alyx is pixelated? lol
Then what about all these very sharp screenshots we can see online?
Try these launch commands to disable dynamic fidelity scaling:
-console -vconsole -nowindow +vr_fidelity_level_auto 0 +vr_fidelity_level 3
Also I've heard that Win11 has some issues with Ryzen right now. Not sure if that has anything to do with your issue or not.
A 3060 is <700$, even in the current market... :P
Anti-aliasing. Turn it up o/
whaddoi do im to stupid to know myself
