Wrist pockets

I'm using a g2 reverb headset. The first-time I came across a syringe I placed it near my wrist and had no trouble storing it. On subsequent play-throughs (same syringe) after save, I can't get the wrist pocket to work. There's nothing in the pocket. I've wasted hours trying to store this stupid syringe. What am I doing wrong?

Since no one came to my rescue, I believe I have the answer. I believe, but I haven't put it to the test, that my problem was that I was inadvertently injecting myself with the syringe before trying to store it.
