Premature shadow culling in lower peripheral vision?

Is anyone else getting this issue? It appears that shadows in my lower peripheral vision are being culled or otherwise removed before they leave my vision. I'm using an Oculus Quest 2. Has anyone else experienced this or know what the fix would be?

Is this happening where you're outside the North Star? If so I'm pretty so this issue is a thing for everyone, and as far as I know there's no fix, just the way the map was made for some reason.

The first time I noticed this issue was outside the quarantine zone gate, and so far I've been able to replicate the issue in almost every environment I've been in since (I've just found Eli after crashing the train, though.)
