Stuttering in Virtual Desktop
Hey doods, been trying to get this working smoothly and followed all the guides for people using Quest 2 with Virtual Desktop but still have a consistent and regular stutter. When I open Virtual Desktops performance metrics I can see it's the encoder that's spiking in latency. This is where I hit a brick wall though, would anyone know where I should go from here? I'm on an overclocked Zotac 1080 which hangs around 75% utilisation, an overclocked Ryzen 5 2600 which stick around 25% and I have 16gb of 3400mhz ram.

do you use XMP profile for your RAM? if yes try to disable XMP profile and use airlink

my sistem was i7 8700k boosted to 4.7GHz, 32Gb A-Data XPG RAM XMP profile_1 3000 MHz (2666 MHz in base), 1080ti, oculus quest 2, i have statters in HL at any resolution in quest and steamvr settings. then i bought RTX 3080 but that not helped.
I tried turning off Hyper-Threading and returned the processor to its base state that not help to.
last i returned the CPU overclocking settings to 4.8 GHz and disabled XMP profile and set manually RAM frequency to 3200 MHz aaaaaaaaand it worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I launched the game by oculus air link in MAX resolution 5408x2736 (72 and 80 Hz without statters, on 90 and 120 Hz it was statters) on ultra game quality settings

No XMP, my ram is manually overclocked. I'll give that a shot, I haven't looked into air link yet! Thanks for the advice yo, I'm currently reinstalling windows for unrelated issues so I'll check back in when I get to try it out and find a solution

I noticed that the processor outputs a large frame time in fpsVR and this is due to RAM. I tried everything I could find but only changes in the frequency of RAM could help. try changing the value higher or lower 3400
