Save game file
Can someone tell me where to locate my save game file? I need to uninstall Alyx and install into a new drive...Thanks

Your save game should also be backed up to the steam cloud if you have that activated. That way, your save games should be carried over to your new drive automatically.

Copy HL: Alyx to the new Steam common folder, no need to download everything again.
Unintall, then re-install after selecting the new drive location. It should discover all the existing files.

Can't you just go Properties -> Local Files -> Move install folder ?

Open Steam settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders.
Setup a second Library on the new drive
Right click on game > properties > Local Files > Move
