Rtx 2070

Anyone running the game on a Gigabyte rtx 2070 ? I saw one on newegg on sale for $389 but I would like to hear first a few opinions.

The GTX1080 sort of trades blows with the RTX2070.

So if we go from that I can play at 90hz on High. And my dynamic resolution flutters between 1300x1300 to 2100x2100 an eye depending on the scene. (My res scale seems to do nothing, as the dynamic resolution dose it's own thing every time.)

Technically the RTX 2070 should be a little better.

I have an RTX 2070S. I run on max settings perfectly smooth on a Rift S.

I played through HL:A on high settings and auto resolution at 90Hz on an Index on a 2070 non-Super. Ran totally smooth through the entire game, no complaints at all here. I might've dropped some frames here and there, but I never noticed if I did, and resolution was always high enough to be nice and crisp.

RTX 2070 will handle it on high without even breaking into a sweat. As long as it's not bottle-necked elsewhere. It's a bit of a mean beast.

I played on gigabyte rtx2070 (non-Super), Max settings, HMD WMR Dell-visor, resolutuin set to 2100x2100 per eye. all good

I'm running the RTX 2070 Gigabyte on my second PC, will easily run it on max Fidelity and a stable 90+ FPS, i've maybe dropped 2 - 3 times in the entire game.

I wish that was the case here, my game tells me to run on low and I get stuttering from time to time. Was much worse when GeForce Experience was installed however.

Thanks guys for all the comments.
I ended up buying a GTX 2080Super, but like Lemony I’m getting sttutering from time to time and the hand jitter is bad too. Hopefully Valve rule out a patch soon that fix all those issues.
