Audio lag and low framerate?
Is anyone else having audio syncing issues? Character dialogue doesn't match up with mouth animation, and conversation responses are super delayed.

EX.
Character A: Xxxxxx, xx xxxxx xxx xxxx?
....
....
....
Character B: Xxx xxxx xxx xx xxxxx xx.

Also the framemate is pretty terrible. Was running fine before the update, and I see a lot of people have that issue. None for the audio though. Any fixes to that at least?

Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
GPU: RX 5600 XT Thicc II PRO
CPU: 8700K
RAM: 16GB 3200MHz
VR headset: HTC Vive Classic
Number of monitors: 1
Other VR apps running at the same time: None
Any extra details: Not experiencing this in any other game except for HL:A. Running at the lowest possible settings and pdated drivers. I just built my PC a few days ago so I can't say much out of issues outside of the game itself.

Same problem here, game recommended I run it at medium settings but even on low audio is out of sync, frames are low, animations are slowed down and certain sections stutter so hard as to make the game almost completely unplayable. Don't have the best PC but it meets system requirements just fine. Seems to be a software problem with Alyx itself.

I've had some choppiness with the audio, but tonight was on another level. It seemed like any time a sound was to be played for the first time during the session, it was delayed by up to 5 seconds. The result is being attacked by something that was completely silent until after it has hit me, dialogue having characters talking over each other, and a general sense of being disconnected to the gameplay. Extremely immersion breaking. I tried restarting the game, and rebooting the PC.

Yeah I'm trudging through the game with all of this because there's honestly no other option. I'm pretty in love with this game (Just now on Chapter 8) but having to bare the awful framerate and audio lag just doesn't give me the full experience I think Valve wanted the player to have :/
