In game Menu and Steam VR Menu

I have the Oculus S, game runs great, but after the last 2 updates I have one issue,

The button i press in Alyx to bring up the in-game menu is the left-hand menu button (three stack hamburger button)
But that ALSO brings up the Steam VR menu, when i close the Steam VR menu is goes right back in the game and closes the Alyx menu.

Basically I cant adjust settings now, or manually save/load. Anyone know of a workaround?

I also ran into this, the only workaround I found was to press P on the computer keyboard to get the pause menu without getting the Steam VR menu.

This is quite an annoying issue though.

Hey, I have the same issue.
When i click on the stick (WMR controller) i see very briefly the game menu (in yellow) but the Steam menu pop-up.

I have the same issue, but I can call the game menu by long pressing the B button on my left control (I set gun to my right hand).

I have the HP reverb G2 and it worked when holding Y on the left controller
