However, I tried loading a save from the beginning of the level and the settings went to high again after I resetted them, everything runs fine now.
Maybe you should try loading an earlier save?
Running on Rift CV1 btw.
Are you maybe partaking in the beta program? You can check this unter settings Beta. If so, try deactivating it (software will then downgrade to the regular version, including drivers and all).
My firmware is also 2.2.0, my Oculus App version is 14.0.0.170.710 (14.0.0.170.710).
MIne to...
Damn man really sad
I'm on an Oculus Rift S, Firmware Version 2.2.0 / Oculus app version 14.0.0.170.710
Hey man I tried that and noticed it was better but the hand movements got choppy and still gripping weapons with both hands and cocking back the shotgun bolt causing this strange spazzing in movement as if the tracking goes bad.
Don't know why but everything was fine initially.
Aye my man I'm trying all kinds of fixes, definitely on a USB 3 port.
Ah, The oculus is actually the best option for new comers for VR, It's actually better than HTC Vive, It has higher resolution, LCD display with 3 sub pixels per pixel, a newer USD version and has touch controllers over motion controllers.
The Vive is close to oculus Rift S lenses and display but far from it's advanced tracking. The only other VR set out there that is over the Rift S is the Index and for display the primax. other than that the oculus has one of the best rated tracking and screens out there.
