Theory: Russell worked for Aperture science

First off, I have not finished the game so please no spoilers for anything after the Vodka distillery. (will edit as i finish the game

With that out fo the way, as I played I came up with the theory that Russell worked for Aperture Science.
Reasons:
1. His knowlege of Robotics and computers. Notably with his hacked drones and hacking in general. With this, he could have easily worked on the Aperture Turrets and Personality Cores.
2. His personality is like Wheatly's but not a moron. He could have been the inspiration for the Personality core.
3. He applied to Black Mesa before the events of HL1. Due to this, He could have either applied to Aperture Science as a back up or Quit and looked for work at Black Mesa after the employee mandatory Testing policy.
4. The gravity gloves are similar to the portal gun's holding function. This one is a minor one but, the gravity gloves could be a version 2 of that function before the gravity gun.
