ACHIEVEMENT BUG REPORT - Cannot get "Freshly Squeezed" - SOLVED

Hello! I have gotten every other achievement except "Freshly Squeezed." In Chapter 2 when I meet the vortigaunt I have grabbed all of the hearts in sigh multiple times. After I beat the game I went back to do it again.

My only thought is that I'm using a Rift S so maybe it registers gripping differently than the Index???

Anyone have any ideas, help, anything?

EDIT: Solved. With Oculus Touch controllers while holding the X and A buttons are "squeeze" buttons (as well as prime grenades).

Yeah I don't know what to tell you in regards to the Rift S. On the Index, since the grip has pressure sensors for individual finger movement, if you squeeze the grip harder Alyx can actually do things like crush cans and the hearts.

I think your best bet would be to look in the controller bindings and see if you can somehow set a button to do "harder squeeze"? Just holding the hearts isn't enough.

You are right...I had to go into bindings...turns out the same button as prime grenades is "squeeze." Thank you!

You are just holding it. On the Rift S you have to press the "A" button to squeeze the hearts.

I am also having this issue on an Oculus Quest. The normal squeeze (Prime grenade button) does not unlock the achievement.

UPDATE: I had found someone saying wait till he opens the door, then go around and start squeezing EVERY heart. They were able to get the achievement after that. I followed the same method. Once he opend the door I went around and squeezed the heart of the one in the pot, and all of the hearts in the pan, one by one. It then finally unlocked for me.

Try grabbing as many of them as possible. You have to do the ones in the bowl

Could not unlock it on the Quest with the unlock button and also not on the Index with pressing fingers on the finger tracking part.

make sure you squeeze every heart in the room by using the squeeze button, i did it on my vive wands so that means you dont require an index controller to get the achievement

The normal squeeze (A button) will do. As long as all the hearts in the pot has being squeeze, the achievement will pop up. Done testing on Pico 4 VR headset.
