Jeff and mask

Anyone else find the tiger mask when you first see Jeff from above? When you first see Jeff, there's a room with a door that's slightly open halfway across the hallway. The mask is underneath the table covered by a large pot.

I wonder why the developers hid that there. I tried using the mask on my second play-through, but being able to breath freely with the downside of blocking a lot of my vision was not worth it. Still a fun challenge though.

I didn’t see that , though there were plenty at the zoo, lol.

I also didn’t have to though as I wore a gas mask since the very first one I found in the game lol. The tiger mask obstructs your vision wayyyy too much.

how tf do you manage to not rip off your mask / helmet randomly while failing to do other actions

I don't know. I kept picking them up and wearing them, putting them back on every time I noticed they fell off... But I kept being like "Oh shoot, I don't have a mask anymore! Where did it go?"

right, and the last one you can get happens ages before jeff, even on replay i didn't manage to keep one until reaching him

Can you stick them in your pocket? I never tried. Wonder if that's an option.

Ah, so that's why I thought gas masks were temporary. I managed to lose mine the first time around.

A funny Easter egg I found is that the survivor complements your tiger mask if you're wearing it (or your helmet).
