Colorblind accessibility. Please, Valve?
The laser pointers are detrimental more than anything. They're a dark red which I can hardly see. Can you please make it a bright green or blue or white or anything else, really?

It's very disappointing that such a widespread disability is completely ignored by Valve.

That's understandable, its very easy to mod but I'd be hoping for actual support.

SMG's laser is blue

I second that.
First pistol upgrade - and wow - i just cant see it. Well, not to a useable degree. Quite frustrating to say the very least.
Green would be wonderful. I mean, protanopia is the most widespread visual disability iirc.

do you know how hard it is to make a game suitable for all disabilities????

SO what about the person who has color blindness to green. You cannot make it work for everyone regardless of what they do.

Many games have settings for these reasons.
Setting to change laser color wouldn't be too difficult to add.

Yup, colorblind options are almost common these days... but since I am not colorblind, I can only really say that i remember seeing such an option in several games.

Your list isn't very accurate if its missing even one really big game: Borderlands 3.
Manually updated lists aren't the best source for things anyways :D
It'd be hard to list all the games with any kind of colorblind settings, because they're pretty common in larger titles these days.
And it isn't one of the things that is "advertised" on the features list, so any kind of automatic searches wouldn't spot them.

Is it not possible to force colourblind filters onto games through your drivers? Or does that not affect the VR output? I know for a fact AMD and Nvidia have tools to do this.

Technically he could do that, but it might break stuff.
Filtering the whole screen isn't the best choice for colorblindness, makes everything look kinda same and bland. Even no color is better than same color as everything else.

Not exactly a complete list. Starcraft 2 f.ex. also has such a setting. Which makes it strange its not listed given how many other Blizzard games are listed here. I am pretty sure its missing a pretty huge number of games. A quick google tells me Overwatch also has a colorblind mode.

So I have to argue it seems pretty common. Does not have to be half of all games to be common I think. I also googled Witcher 3, it also has a colorblind mode, but seems it got added later because of requests. If its more than half of all games, I would consider it pretty much standard. That is probably not the case, but I think it is common.

Also it seems there is this Windows 10 feature that might be enough for some games. Can even be used with a short-cut key:

Thats out of what 10,000 games. Pretty common means at least more than half of the games on the market. A better description is some game have it. Pretty common does not fit.
