Fine, even when I push the visor inward doesn't make contact with the lenses.

(Rift S)

I wear my Odyssey+ over my prescription lenses as recommended and it's pretty comfortable. It depends on the headset and your personal preferences, but there's also the option of prescription lens inserts you can order for a lot of headsets.

Depends on your glasses, got thicker rectangle glasses?
You're ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Got small round ones?
You're good.

Index is actually really good for all types of glasses, but it's also 1k.

Not everyone who wears glasses in real life needs them in VR,
If your long-sighted ie: can't see thing really close then VR is often fine.
VR creates an artificial focal distance of about 2 metres.
It's like the screens are virtually 2 metres away - so for me even though I am long sighted VR is fine.

I'm near sighted, I don't really need my glasses to see anything with the headset but sometimes I don't take them off and all I have to do is just adjust the thingy on my htc vive and it still fits fine. I prefer it without my glasses though since when you adjust the thingy the screen also goes farther which I don't like.

It will be a trade off, I wear glasses to see farther away things and used to wear my glasses in the VR set, I've tried them with original Rift, rift S and original Vive. It will be more uncomfortable, you may get used to it or not notice it after a while but it for sure is an extra thing to have squished on your face. I gave up wearing glasses in VR when I noticed I had accidentally scratched the lens on the vive with my glasses rubbing onto it at some point. I liked to keep the distance from the lens as close as possible because of the increased field of view the closer the lens was.

Bottom line, I stopped wearing my glasses in VR. For me it was ok to do this, there is a slight fuzzyness, things are not as sharp as they could be with glasses but the plus side is I can adjust the lenses as close to my eyes as possible giving me the best field of view. I felt that glasses in VR ended up giving me more of a goggle type view which I could not enjoy.

I don't know about others VR, but Rift S it's pretty comfortable using glasses. I have 0 trouble while using it.

I wear regular-ish frames and have always had comfort issues wearing them in VR. It's possible, but constantly requires adjustment for me, and thus was a major killer to immersion. Please note that my experiences are limited to the DK1, DK2, Vive, Rift CV1, and Quest.

Thankfully there are a number of companies that now produce lens inserts which slot into the headset and hover in front of the lens. I ordered mine from a company called WIDMO VR and just had to give them my prescription information. I would highly recommend them.

I have quite big glasses, and it was fine with both Rift and HTC Vive

You can get prescription lenses, check out VR Optician.

Rift S - and it's great. It has lots of room (large eyebox) for glasses. To prevent lens scratches get a lens film protector like 'Healing Shield' 43mm curved. (it's what I use)

On the other hand the original Rift CV1 had a smaller eyebox, which I couldn't use eye glasses with.
